Project Manager – Commercial Vehicles

We are looking for Project Manager – Commercial Vehicles  to drive activities for key Commercial Vehicles OEM. In this role as Project Manager – Commercial Vehicles  you will lead the multi functional teams to assure the execution of the product development process to assure a flawless product launch or/and  it changes in the serial production. Our team is supporting serial production and Customer Change Requests on Electronic Control Units (ECUs). You will lead cross competency activities to implement projects scope on time, profit and with best quality.

Your Role:

• Define Project Milestones according PDP and synchronize with customer milestones. 

• Define action plans and control execution 

• Leading project team meetings internally & customer communication

• Project planning & control within the framework of the product development process & customer requirments

• Responsibility for the preparation and adherence to the budget

• Supporting Sales Team with needed offer preparation

• Risk and escalation management

• Preparation of regular status reports for management and customers

• Development and initiation of measures to achieve targets with a focus on deadlines, quality & costs

• Main interface to the customer, coordination of customer enquirers

• Responsibility for timely completion of the product

• Running face to face meeting with customer when required

• Willing to travel on quarterly basis 

Your Background:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or MSc in preferably electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or comparable qualification

• First experience in project management in the automotive industry

• High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others

• Disciplined and accurate/structured working style

• Fluent command in spoken and written English 

• Knowledge of business management

• Trustworthiness, commitment and dedication, initiative and flexibility
   

Nice to Have:

• Good knowledge of MS Project

• Experience with Jira, Polarion

• Knowledge of software development processes and tools

• Financial background

• System experience for vehicle integration of different ECUs and sensors

• Experience in supplier tracking and steering

•  SW and HW background
