Fiberglass Repair Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled fiberglass technician that can do general construction repairs to our fiberglass walk – in boxes. The ideal candidate is an independent worker who is open to travel and performing repairs at customer job sites. The candidate should be capable of assessing damages and making sound decisions on best methods of repair while representing Polar King at the job site.

Job Duties:

· Travel country to make field repairs at customer’s sites.

· Work with lumber, plywood, fiberglass paint and gel coat.

· Travel required on a regular basis during warmer weather months or to southern areas in the winter.

· Demonstrate strong customer service skills when at customer sites to promote Polar King in a positive manner.

Qualifications:

· Fiberglass experience required (candidate will receive advanced training on the job in our factory).

· Fiberglass hand lay up or chopper gun experience.

· Use of power tools including saws, drills, sanders etc.

· Problem solving skills.

· Background in construction, drywall, and or painting is preferred.

· Excellent customer service skills.

· Valid drivers license and good traffic record is required.

· High school diploma or greater.

Polar King International, Inc. will provide the candidate with a company van and equipment needed to perform the job tasks that are required. Travel expenses and per – diem is also provided by Polar King International, Inc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
