We’ve got what you’re looking for. Job Description: Parsons is seeking a talented and driven technical specialist to join our growing Mission Solutions team. You will work as part of a team to identify, procure, test, and evaluate a wide variety of products and systems, primarily for data collection and analysis purposes. Good troubleshooting skills and flexibility are required to support these R&D efforts. If you are eager to work with emerging technologies in unique and creative ways, and are available to travel, this opportunity/role will be perfect for your next career move. You will be working in a research, design, and development environment producing a wide variety of products, ranging from vehicle-based integrated sensor systems, to custom PCB designs for advanced on-the-edge algorithm processing applications, to augmented and virtual reality applications, and many more. You will formulate innovative solutions to problems -- then design, build, and integrate them. Required Qualifications: No security clearance required to start, but you must be willing and able to maintain and/or be sponsored for a Top Secret clearance. Due to the security clearance requirement provided by the Customer, US Citizenship is required. BS or higher in an applicable field, such as Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, etc. Willing and available to travel periodically in support of field tests and data collections; fastidious attention to detail with respect to setup, calibration, ground-truthing, data backup, and other data collection tasks Experience with using and troubleshooting software tools and systems, including hardware and network communications Works well unsupervised Excels in component level troubleshooting Experience with the Microsoft Office suite Desired Qualifications: Active Top Secret security clearance Experience with MATLAB Experience with Python, C/C or similar programming languages Familiarity with the current state of the art in various fields, including imaging sensors, thermal sensors, biometrics, surveillance, embedded systems, and more Experience with digital signal processing, analysis Experience with sensors applicable to military use, such as thermal imaging, LiDAR, etc. Experience developing and authoring technical documentation, such as operating procedures Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/None This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
