Let us describe the challenge we offer
Polestar is looking for an analyst to join its network expansion team. Network expansion builds and supports Polestar’s North American retailer network. The team is involved in every aspect of Polestar’s retailer distribution program from initial market identification, through analysis of retailer applicants and build out support, to opening and ongoing business analysis and support. As the EV Business Analyst, you will play an active role in providing meaningful data analysis, research, and insights to support the network teams key initiatives. You will be a key team member in the business planning strategy process, collaborating closely with stakeholders across the organization as we continue to grow across North America.
What you’ll do
- Perform market sizing analysis and translate into actionable takeaways to understand and prioritize opportunities for expansion.
- Manage weekly business all-hands meeting agenda, action items & follow ups.
- Project manage key initiatives and goals for network team, aligning with managers and field staff to ensure all project timelines are met.
- Support the network team in regular business planning, target setting, resource planning, budget allocation and analysis.
- Join in the development of our retailer business planning, target setting, resource planning, and financial analysis.
- Manage ad-hoc projects as needed including handling financials and retailer documentation.
Who you are
- A bachelor’s degree, and 2 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role with data or financial analysis.
- Advanced MS Office skills, specifically in Excel (e.g. Pivot table, VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint (e.g. drafting and design).
- Passion for EVs and sustainability
- Automotive, management consulting, investment banking, finance, or growth stage startup experience highly desirable
- Strong analytical mindset with proven experience working with large sets of data.
- Thrive working within a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts concisely, clearly, and effectively across multiple levels including executive leadership team, peers, and managers.
