What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at Pollo Campero?
The responsibility of our Dishwasher, BOH team member, is to ensure that the restaurant has a steady supply of clean tableware and cookware, as well as, continually observing and implementing the proper quality-assurance and food-safety procedures.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Speak English fluently, bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Must have good interpersonal communication skills to work with customers and other employees
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to produce authorized U.S. work documents
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in similar roles
- Ability to lift and push 50 lbs.
- Have contagious energy
- Be a team player
- Have great communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for cleaning all prep equipment, silverware, and dishes according to sanitation requirements
- Keeping the dish pit organized
- Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils.
- Follows and abides by all safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Remove all trash from dishwashing station
