POLYWOOD is currently seeking applicants for a Photographer to join our growing in-house Creative Team at our headquarters in Syracuse, IN. The ideal candidate will be the “go-to” person for anything photography. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a team of seasoned creative professionals and help take our brand to the next level.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Creative Director and the Imagery Team to create industry leading product visuals.
- Plan, organize, and shoot both Studio and Lifestyle shoots.
- Generate rendered imagery utilizing digital 3D visualization programs
- Provide photo retouching and digital manipulation of images to create finished content for use across multiple channels
- Support other company departments with various photography requests
- Implement file-naming, organization, and metadata initiatives to fulfill accurate and complete digital asset protocols for all files.
- Operate and maintain studio equipment, organize photo supplies and maintain storage areas.
- Create work you’re proud of. Help ensure that all deadlines are met and visual content is created to brand standards.
Requirements
Skills, Experience, and Requirements:
- REQUIRED: A solid photography portfolio that demonstrates experience conceptualizing and executing impactful, engaging imagery for print, digital, and social platforms — applications without portfolios or work examples will be omitted from consideration.
- A degree in Photography or Fine Arts is preferred
- REQUIRED: 4 years of experience (or equivalent) in a photography studio or corporate advertising / creative department.
- Ability to storytell through creative visuals
- Highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Camera RAW)
- Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in being a thought partner with senior creatives to brainstorm and collaborate on concepts and direction
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, anticipate demands, and communicate status appropriately to the rest of the team and collaborators
- Responsive to feedback, capable of both receiving and giving all types of feedback
- Self-motivated and accountable; able to work independently and meet deadlines
- A positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to be flexible and accommodating in our fast-paced environment
- Hard work ethic, desire to learn and grow
