Job Description:
The Quality Technician will play a key part in facilitating and maintaining various quality systems and processes to support both Quality Control and Assurance functions. The primary objective is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our Quality Management System (QMS).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with quality procedures and regulatory requirements including but not limited to REACH, ROHS, Proposition 65, and CMRT.
- Collaborate on QMS enhancement for internal and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct inspections and tests of materials at various production stages.
- Interpret engineering drawings for dimensional validation.
- Address nonconformances, participating in the Root Cause Corrective Action system.
- Expedite customer returns, overseeing investigation and processing.
- Contribute to internal audits as part of the audit team.
- Lead or participate in continual improvement initiatives, focusing on quality and efficiency.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Engineering drawing comprehension.
- Knowledge of surface plate inspection.
- Knowledge of basic measuring equipment.
- Physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
