We are currently seeking an Asset Administrative Assistant in Bethlehem, PA for a potential contract to hire opportunity. The Asset Administrative Assistant works closely with the Manger of IT Support services to ensure IT assets are requested, procured, received, and inventoried.
Schedule will be Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm. Onsite training/orientation will be required. After training a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days remote will be available.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the review and processing of on-line requisitions including verifying all documentation required is provided.
- Responsible for accurately updating the IT Asset database. This includes serial numbers, cost centers, username, location, leasing information, device name, operating system, etc.
- Working with the Manager of IT Support & Training Services, assist with ordering of IT products from various vendors including cell phones
- Maintain stock levels of standard IT hardware and mobile devices
- For items shipped directly to end users: contact users to confirm all requested items have been received (in good working order) and verify serial numbers when appropriate. Incidents and asset tracking tool should be updated as required.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in procurement and asset management
- Work experience in vendor management
- Understanding of basic procurement processes and procedures
- Must be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance; detail-orientation is a must.
- Flexibility, ability to change priorities quickly, and capacity to handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
