Director - Enterprise Data

General Function -
The Director of Enterprise Data is responsible for visualizing, designing, and creating Pomeroy's enterprise data
management framework.

How You'll Make a Difference -

• Proven experience in architecture governance, controls, and peer reviews in regards to data, security, and cloud.
• Ability to build and articulate a data architecture and delivery roadmap indicating current, transition, and future

state architectures, focused on clear benefits to both IT and business users.

• Ability to evaluate and assess existing legacy data assets with an eye on modernization and simplification.
• Understanding of algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns and best practices.
• Ability to authentically and effectively communicate with various stakeholders across business and IT.
• Responsible for creating design patterns and best practices for data and the integration of data through the

enterprise.

• Responsible for creating reference architecture necessary to hold architecture delivery to the level of quality.
• Strong experience of several major technology implementation projects and data analysis (hands on

experience).

• Work closely with delivery teams including business subject matter experts (SMEs) to deliver data solutions that

are reliable, flexible, scalable, and provide low cost ownership.

• Partner with Enterprise Architecture on enterprise strategy.
• Excellent and proven analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to decompose a large problem into smaller

executable pieces.

• Provide technical mentoring, guidance, and training to Data and Analytic resources.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Adept with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
• Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills

YOU HAVE -

• 5 years of experience delivering data centric solutions and cloud platforms
• 3 years of experience design and tuning a MSP environment
• 3 years of experience with an Enterprise Reporting Suite
• Skilled in database concepts, including normalization, indexing, physical and logical modeling, creation of SQL queries and performance tuning
