What are the responsibilities and job description for the Migration Technician position at Pomeroy?
Pomeroy is looking for 3 Migration Tech's for to join our team on a contract basis in Erie, PA. Must work on-site in Erie, PA. NO 3rd parties please!
Must have your COVID vaccination for this position.
Provide Level I Support
- Level 1 Desktop, device deployment.
- Documenting a backlog of inventory (going through boxes and keeping track of PO numbers and quantities). Once data is gathered we will then need to track down the owner of the inventory and make a determination on whether or not the inventory will be kept or discarded.
- Scrub and re-image all company PC’s and laptops, packing up desktops for shipping.
- Support Windows 7 & 10 OS, and other business applications.
- Connect/disconnect all hardware related to personal PC’s and laptop computers, training available.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Seeking 1 -years experience with IT troubleshooting in Windows 7 & 10 OS
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Products.
- Professional certifications a plus (A certification a plus)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
