Pomeroy is hiring! We are in need for 4 skilled PC Technician for a 6-week contract to join us at 84 Waterford Drive Marlborough MA 01752
Shifts: 8am-5pm and 11am-8pm.
Essential Job Functions
· Candidate will be responsible for migrating laptops/workstations and iPads to a new parent organization. There are 2 shifts: 8am-5pm and 11am-8pm.
· Backup user data
· Install image on new system
· Migrate information to the new system
· Basic computer work (following a checklist of tasks per machine)
· Handle general troubleshooting for OS/driver and software issues
· Install/uninstall requested software
Must Have Skills
- Must have 3–5-year PC Support experience
- Must have worked on PC/Laptop Migration projects
- Win 10 and Office installation and support
- Active Directory
- PC Build and imaging experience
- Hardware and software troubleshooting
- Some networking troubleshooting skills
- Trouble ticket queue experience
- Experienced with data manipulation, this must include taking data from excel and or csv files and creating v look ups
- Experience creating PowerPoint decks
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead virtual meetings and interact with users and vendors on a constant basis.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $37.00 per hour
