Senior Accountant

About the Position We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant II to join our growing team in Peachtree Corners, GA. The ideal candidate possesses 5 years of related experience and wants to grow, collaborate, and innovate. In this position, the successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Director of Accounting and will be responsible for the following: Assist with month-end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries and account analysis Provide audit and tax support, including preparation of audit and tax schedules, coordinate audit requests and deadlines, and assist with preparation of audited financial statements and footnotes Preparation of monthly sales & use tax returns, including managing internal sales tax reports and reconciling sales tax accounts Manage company’s travel and expense program, including reconciliation of Concur expenses to the Company’s corporate card program and transacting weekly reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses Respond to ad hoc requests for data and reports We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter. Experience and Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Detail oriented and analytical, with the ability to work and solve problems with minimal oversight Excellent communication skills Advanced knowledge of Excel, specifically with manipulating and analyzing data using pivot tables and vlookup and sumif formulas, etc Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally About Pond Pond is an award-winning, full-service architecture, engineering, planning, construction management, and environmental services firm providing professional solutions to clients throughout the U.S. and globally for nearly 60 years. Additional Information We anticipate filling this position as a Senior Accountant with a salary range of $86,000.00 - $133,900.00 . Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. Additional cash incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial and/or other benefits dependent on position offered. Salary : $86,000 - $133,900
