Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing office operations, and assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. Duties: - Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence - Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department - Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary - Assist with event planning and coordination, including scheduling meetings, booking venues, and arranging catering - Handle order entry and ensure accurate data entry into computerized systems - File and organize documents, both physical and electronic - Proofread documents for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors - Transcribe meeting minutes or other important notes as needed - Provide front desk coverage as required - Assist with various administrative tasks as assigned Skills: - Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus - Ability to effectively use computerized systems for order entry and data management - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Previous experience in an administrative or office assistant role is preferred - Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.
