- The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a pivotal role in providing strategic financial leadership, collaboration, and direction as a key member of the executive team, the CFO is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, treasury, and risk management of the parent company to four operational entities. Responsible for managing finance and accounting, and overall leadership, direction, and coordination of the department. A shortlist of responsibilities not limited to: Leadership, Compliance, and Regulatory, Fiscal Reporting, Planning, and Analysis, Forecasting, FP&A Annual Audit Preparation & Coordination, Tax strategy and compliance, Risk Management, Manage cash flow, liquidity, and complex capital, Guide the budget for M&A and strategic initiatives, Supervise six middle Manager Direct Reports from the Finance, Accounting, IT, and HR staff
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required; a Master’s Degree is strongly preferred
- A CPA is a plus
- 7 years in senior leadership positions as a CFO, VP of Finance, Controller, or other senior finance roles
- 10 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position leading strategic planning and analysis, preferably in organizations driving revenues of $100-150M
- Strong background in establishing and maintaining strategic banking relationships.
- Experience building complex models with multiple paths to growth.
- Experience overseeing treasury activities including the management of credit facilities.
- Comfortable presenting to senior leadership, Board of Directors, lending institutions, and other key constituencies.
- Prior experience working in an industry with recurring and/or subscription-based revenue streams.
- Experience in multi-entity/multi-state organizations is preferred
- Mathematical aptitude to implement and interpret complex accounting, analysis, and forecasting operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Sage Intacct experience a plus, experience with large databases, ERP accounting applications required
- Willing to travel 1 week out of the month to Phoenix and Austin to various
