Job Posting for Customer Service Representative / Sales Support at Pope Packaging
We are currently looking for a Sales Support/Customer Service Representativeto join our team to communicate with customers, understand their needs, ensure a smooth sales process, and develop new leads.
Responsibilities:
Present and sell packaging products and services to new and existing customers
Receive phone calls, emails, and document customer information
Provide quote requests and process orders in D365
Prepare sales orders by reviewing information, and obtaining the necessary approvals
Process sales orders by verifying selling price and placing the purchase order into system
Respond efficiently and promptly to customer inquires
Enter customer information and inquiries into CRM
Responsible for on-going Sales Support activities from the Order to Invoice process
Attract potential customers by providing product related information
Understand customer needs and requirements
Work with purchasing to coordinate pricing and product lead times for non-stock items. Communicate this back to customer and follow-up throughout the process.
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
Researching potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources, identify key players and generate interest
Quoting and Scheduling freight
Requirements:
Strong phone presence and experience
Ability to build relationships and work in a collaborative manner
Previous experience in Packaging industry is a plus
Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook
ERP and CRM experience preferrred
Basic accounting experience preferred
Understanding of inventory process/usage
Ability to take direction, work with others, and be self-motivated
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Excellent customer service skills necessary
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
