We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team and keep a finger on the pulse of our business! We are a growing company and are always striving to be the best
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial and operational data and turning it into concise reporting that focuses management attention on the highest value/opportunity business issues. This role will also be responsible for managing some vendor relationships and providing certain administrative services to the restaurants and operational leadership, as well as preparing reports and presentations for the ownership group.
Responsibilities
- Analyze current and past financial and operational data and prepare cogent recurring and ad hoc reports for the management team.
- Work with the VP-Operations, Regional Managers, and District Managers to focus energy on the restaurants and operational areas with the greatest opportunity.
- Prepare financial/operational reporting packages for the ownership group, banks, landlords, auditors, and other stakeholders.
- Work with outsourced accountants on key financial areas and root cause analysis for unfavorable variances.
- Act as point-of-contact with third-party delivery aggregators (e.g., Doordash) to ensure locations and menus are properly set up vis-à-vis customer view/interaction, and sales and funds are flowing properly.
- Administer financial/operational programs, such as the company purchasing card, armored car/smart-safe program, restaurant-level banking relationships.
- Administer a premises lease database and reporting system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 0 - 3 years' financial analysis or accounting experience
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Ability to multi-task and shift priorities frequently
- Ability to problem-solve and fact-find
