Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for an Event Coordinator for our Denver based Events group. Our ideal candidate will support the project management and project delivery tasks for our Events team, with the ability to support multiple concurrent events. Our Event Coordinator’s work with our design teams to develop event plans to produce a successful event. Work hours will increase on-site at our events due to travel and to ensure we have a successful and timely completion of the project.

What Your Day Could Consist Of:
- Developing and managing project schedules, including working with individuals to collect schedule data and reporting on this information to staff, clients and vendors.
- Taking on project leadership roles at various levels, across multiple projects.
- Project tracking and reporting using tools for internal project management and external project coordination with clients and vendors.
- Support event planning by assisting with administrative functions, such as scheduling meetings, ordering supplies/equipment, creating presentations, task coordination and follow up.
- Researching commodities and vendors in designated areas and present findings with recommendations on selection.
- Managing contracts/agreements between vendors and the client; ensuring all documents state correct scope, obtain signatures and organize final copies for reference.
- Facilitate with vendors for order placement, information gathering and invoicing of the client.
- Tracking and managing vendor invoicing.
- Coordinating staff, vendors for their event credential requirements.
- Coordination of accreditation information and supplies for specific event groups.
- Coordination of detailed schedules, delivery operations, load-in/load-out planning and operations.
Requirements For Success:
- 5 years' experience as an event coordinator preferred.
- Previous event related project management experience, a plus.
- Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced understanding of Excel/database relationships and Smartsheet, a plus.
- Technical Savvy – quick to pick up new tools/software/platforms.
- Excellent organization skills and efficiency in time management.
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to be flexible to manage shifting priorities, project requirements, demands, and timelines.
- Ability to effectively prioritize.
- Ability to identify areas for improvement in our work processes and take initiative to implement.
- Comfort working both independently and, in a team,-oriented, collaborative environment.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred, but not required.
- Event experience preferred.
Compensation:
- The projected salary range for this opportunity is $64,000.00-$72,000.00 annually and may be more or less depending on skills, experience, and education.
Additional details:
- Travel will be required.
- Overtime will be required
