Certified Dietary Manager

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Dietary Manager to join our team. As a Certified Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the dietary department and ensuring the provision of high-quality food services to our residents. Responsibilities: - Manage the daily operations of the dietary department, including food production, meal planning, and kitchen management - Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations - Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of our residents - Supervise and train dietary staff in proper food handling and preparation techniques - Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address specific dietary needs or restrictions of residents - Maintain accurate records of food production, inventory, and resident dietary information - Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area - Oversee shift management, including scheduling and assigning tasks to staff members - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in food management Requirements: - Certification as a Dietary Manager (CDM) is required - Previous experience in restaurant management or food service industry is highly preferred - Strong knowledge of food production, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively - Solid understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices - Exceptional organizational and time management skills - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.
