Residential Program Coordinator- Direct Support Professional

Main Function:
As the program coordinator you will work in a residential setting with other Direct Support Professionals in a home for adults with developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges. You will provide a reliable presence for the residents, their guardians and staff while also managing the administrative aspects of the operation of the home. The health, safety and welfare of clients will be your priority. You will be responsible for the supervision, coaching and performance evaluations of direct care staff, including input on disciplinary action. You will be responsible for compliance with all applicable county and state regulations, as well as agency policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
At least one year of direct care experience
Preferably at least one year of supervisory or management experience.
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Immunization Requirements: Measles, Mumps, Rubeola, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Covid-19, & Seasonal Influenza
At Least 18 Years of Age
Current Driver’s License
Must Pass Background Checks (State and Federal)
Preference will be given to candidates that apply with any of the following required certifications: DSP certification, First Aid/CPR, CRMA and Mandt (PSS, BHP or MHRT-1 not required, but a plus).
The ideal Program Coordinator candidate must be able to work a full time schedule to include at least 1 weekend shift. You’re schedule will include up to 20hrs of Direct client care with 20hrs of administration.
