residential Program Manager

 

Duties and responsibilities

Provides orientation, supervision, mentoring and professional development for teams..
Demonstrates a comfort level working with clients with all different types of needs and modeling appropriate and best practice methods for teams needing support;
Disseminates higher level agency information such as policy revisions, critical updates and expectations
Mentors team in positive methods of team leadership;
Facilitates direct one on one supervision and team meetings for their homes and teams;
Leads their team to support the clients to live meaningful and fulfilled lives in their communities.
Completes annual and periodic Person Centered Planning (PCP) and completion of assessments for all clients in the region;
Ensures the Person-Centered Planning goals of each client are focused on by each team throughout the year by reviewing AWARDS and other client related documentation and through program visits and direct observation on a regular basis;
Ensures the behavioral needs for all clients within their region are addressed following company policy and the regulations set forth by the State of Maine.
Oversees higher level tasks for each program within their region to ensure completion;
Oversees Performance Counseling for any employee working within their homes;
Ensures compliance with all applicable county and state regulations, as well as agency policies and procedures;
Oversees all mandated reporting and incident reports for their homes;
Completes, at minimum, annual program audits for their homes.
Ensures the financial integrity of each home within their region.
Oversees the balancing of all fiscal ledgers for each home at least monthly;
Ensures completion of billing for services for each home weekly;
Ensures each program  adheres to authorized staffing levels and engages peers and agency leadership for strategic planning when needed.

Qualifications

Minimum of High School Diploma or GED, one year direct care experience, one year of supervisory or management experience (not necessarily in a formal position). DSP experience preferred. Vaccinations required and Seasonal Influenza.
