Clinical Manager
Portage Path is a well-established Community Behavioral Health agency located in the heart of Downtown Akron. We have over 50 years of experience providing innovative, quality mental health services while consistently utilizing cutting-edge programs and evidence-based practice with an eye on market changes.
Requirements:
- Must hold an independent licensure in the state of Ohio (LPCC, LISW, IMFT, PhD)
- Supervisory designation strongly preferred.
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Clinical Manager will report directly to the Senior Director of Clinical Operations. He/she will oversee all Outpatient Team Coordinators and staff clinicians. This position has a weekly expectation of 70% (28 hours) direct patient care and 30% (12 hours) administrative duties (subject to change based on business needs).
Detailed responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervise all multidisciplinary teams by providing clinical oversight
- Assist in clinician recruitment, onboarding, employee retention & mediation
- Create new clinical programs and collaborate on policy & procedure development
- Work with outside agencies to foster community relationships
- Provide direct patient care (intake assessments, individual & group therapy)
- Conduct routine chart/clinical audits
- Mentor Team Coordinators in regards to staff development
