Job Summary:
The IT Infrastructure Engineer reports to the Director of Technology and is responsible for the support and implementation of our network and server infrastructure. This hands-on role will be responsible for successful project deployments, network and server support, and continuing to advance our use of technology. This position will drive and support a wide range of enterprise-wide system implementation projects across all business lines, while providing world class customer service to our team members and residents.
Responsibilities:
• Support and maintain technology infrastructure including data, voice and video networks
• Support and maintain DNS, DHCP, SSL Certificates, and Domain registrations
• Support and maintain Microsoft Azure
• Support and maintain Server and Microsoft 365 backups to ensure all systems are protected and tested
• Administration of security solutions including perimeter, endpoint, and intrusion detection & prevention systems
• Extract and mange data using PowerShell or other tools as required
• Support and maintain system and network monitoring for maximum system availability
• Provide advanced high-level support for Microsoft 365 Enterprise suite, Apple iOS, Windows and ChromeOS, Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Install, setup, and maintain application software on servers
• Lead troubleshooting for all network and system outages including providing root cause analysis
• Perform project tasks in a timely matter
• Communicate and collaborate with vendors to maintain relationship for support of current products
• Research, Recommend, Implement, and Support new technology enhancements
• Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for network and server infrastructure
• Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning
• Create and maintain documentation on all network and server systems including add, moves and changes
• Record, document, and resolve incident requests per standard procedures in a timely courteous manner maintaining the highest level of customer service
• Mentor other IT team members with technical guidance including troubleshooting complex issues
• Participate in on-call rotation and work off-hours when required
• Communicate with end users and residents in a courteous and professional manner
• Provide technical assistance and training for our customers on technology
• Travel to/from company locations is required
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree or equivalent enterprise knowledge and experience in IT
• 3-5 years Information Technology experience with hands on knowledge of data centers, infrastructure networking, security, Azure, systems administration, and telecommunication systems
• Experience with Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Knowledge of Apple technology including iOS, iPhone's, and iPad's is preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communications skills required
• Comprehensive understanding of network architecture is required
• Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Highly flexible and self-motivated with ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
