Who we are

Mach49 partners with global businesses to create a pipeline and portfolio of new ventures and investments that disrupt existing markets and create new ones. We work with our clients to deliver the essential features of a successful growth engine: Venture Building, Venture Investing, Strategic Partnering, and Targeted M&A.

What makes us unique

At Mach49, we work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a start-up vibe — but we also benefit from the stability and resources of an established company. We’re good at what we do and we like doing it; the success rate of our ventures is over 90% because we’re driven by our mission and supported by a network of smart, friendly, execution-focused pros.

Who we need

You will own the outreach, planning, design, and execution of the global Technology, Talent and Training (TTT) program for one of Mach49’s clients.  Your objective is to build the entrepreneurial ecosystem for the Client through a series of high-profile events. With the support of your team, you will collaborate with Mach49 and Client leadership to define the events, network with candidate speakers and attendees, select locations, and provide regular updates to the Client leadership.

What You’ll Deliver

  • Overall Responsibility to design and execute global TTT program
  • Liaise with Mach49 and Client leadership to identify speakers and event leads
  • Hire and manage TTT execution team
  • Define 'catalog' of all events and work with Event Managers to schedule
  • Build and nurture a community of high-powered entrepreneurs and Subject Matter Experts
  • Manage TTT expense budget
  • Provide regular updates to Mach49 and Client leadership

What You Bring

  • You enjoy creating impactful content and receiving constructive feedback.
  • You love the idea of a fast-paced startup environment where everyone chips in, and no task is beneath you. You are comfortable tackling new challenges on your own, and you know how to develop your own process to efficiently work to a solution.
  • Excellent communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively is crucial for you. You are comfortable with conveying concepts and ideas in both spoken and written forms, and you are careful and deliberate with the language you use.
  • Any topic can be interesting and engaging for you, and a deep understanding of how something works is always your goal.
  • Meticulous mindset. Everyone claims they’re detail-oriented, but you take it to the next level. You are methodical, and the processes you utilize ensure there are no inconsistencies in the final product.
  • You don’t view your job simply as a 9-to-5, you’re here to learn and grow to the next level in a fast-paced environment. You take personal pride in your work, and you will always go the extra mile to bring that edge that no one else can.
  • You’re no stranger to tight turnarounds or having to juggle multiple tasks. You know how to adapt your working style and process to the situation at-hand, and you don’t drop the ball or miss a deadline.

What We Require

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of relevant work experience in event management and global events planning and execution
  • Demonstrated success in hiring and nurturing a high-performance team
  • Experience managing significant expense budgets
  • Familiarity with emerging technology companies

Demonstrated experience networking with global entrepreneurs and executives, and creating a connected community

We require background and reference checks, that new hires be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and that all associates, clients, and guests who choose to attend in-person Mach49 events provide proof of vaccination and follow local requirements and mask mandates. Working together, we can protect our global community.
