Description
At this time, a 12 Volt Installer/Technician (Installer) is needed to be responsible for servicing specific dealerships as assigned. Will complete repairs, and maintenance tasks, diagnose errors or technical problems that arise, and determine the most effective solution.
*Ideal candidates should have a background in installing car audio (power supplies and cables), or alarms
*Ability to travel with the Installation team on a quarterly basis
*Daily Travel to and from dealerships is required for this role

Schedule: Standard Business Hours.
Compensation: $16.50 per hour plus commission (Installer Commission Plan). Comprehensive Benefits Package!
Essential Functions:
- Check T-Sheets Calendar daily for scheduled appointments.
- Ensure proper installation of the program including installation errors.
- Report to the dealer daily or per assigned schedule.
- Communicate with Dealer Management regarding schedule.
- Keep lot up 100% completion with program install (All inventory must be completed & installed by the Friday of every week).
- Communicate to the dealer and home office for vehicles he/she is unable to install.
- Label and track all vehicles properly.
- Drive to the on-site detail area located at dealerships.
- Retrieve keys, drive vehicles, and park them in the designated detail area.
- Invoice and document vehicles were detailed.
Requirements
Education and Qualification Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current, valid driver’s license.
- Technicians must look presentable and wear company uniforms.
- Technicians must furnish his/her own tools.
- Proven work experience as a field service technician.
- Ability to travel and work according to a changing schedule.
- Reliable transportation.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to problem-solve.
- Good communication and training skills.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- This position can have Installers walking an average of 10k-12k steps a day.
- Vision acuity is required to include close vision, color vision, distant vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to grasp objects such a telephone or computer mouse, finger dexterity to use a keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment
- Ability to walk, stand, reach with hands and arms; stoop kneel, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to frequently sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to hear and talk, both in person and by phone.
