Cosmetologist & Executive Assistant Position Overview
We are looking for an executive assistant at the photography studio for Captured Imagery who can also provide hair and makeup services. Your primary focus includes making bookings on behalf of clients, ensuring the studio space is adequately prepared to provide a high quality experience, providing hair and makeup services before clients’ sessions and assisting the photographer during photoshoots.
This position is a contractor position that will start part-time, but there is opportunity for full time work in the near future. This position needs to be earned by your outstanding work during your part time position and your contribution to the growth of the company.
The majority of the tasks will be done in the Captured Imagery studio in Kapolei, Hawaii with the flexibility of also working remotely for some tasks. This position will require flexibility and being able to commute to and from our location.
Responsibilities include:
- Customer Service: You will be handling responses to client inquiries and book sessions as needed. This will also include following up with leads and touch points with previous clients.
- Hair and Makeup Services: Provide hair and makeup services to clients at the studio before their photoshoot
- Studio Assistant: Prepare studio for client meetings and sessions ensuring space is clean and organized. Also ensuring that the equipment is in working order before and after use. You will be on site during photoshoots to assist the photographer as needed.
- Coordinating with Vendors: Liaise with vendors such as venues, stylists, florists and set designers that may be needed for clients' projects.
- Marketing and Content Creation: Work with the marketing team to implement effective marketing campaigns for the studio. Work with the photographer to capture behind-the-scenes and other content during photoshoots.

Qualifications & Preferences
- 1-2 years experience in administrative tasks
- Comfortable with technology and various systems
- Skilled in customer service and communication
- Looking for someone who is teachable and is excited to learn.
- Training and 1-2 years experience in cosmetology and makeup application
- This is not required, but if you have any writing, photography or videography skills, or Adobe Suite experience please make sure to let us know.
