Portside is an upscale dining restaurant sitting with a bay front view in beautiful Charleston Oregon. We’re now hiring Restaurant Servers/Bartender, to join our team!
Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
- Preparation of service areas and the serving of customers.
- Reviews specials, reservations, and any menu changes for schedule of daily functions(s).
- Complete all necessary sidework to include filling and stocking salt/pepper shakers, washing linen, folding silverware, cleaning up service areas, preparing for next shift.
- Performs both opening and closing procedures.
- Observe Health Department guidelines for food handling and sanitation so that guests and employees will not be in risk of cross-contamination. Keep compartment sink, side boards, and refrigerators clean and sanitized.
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management; and
- Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications:
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Food Handler’s Card and OLCC Permit.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Knowledge of food and wine
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant serving experience.
- Must have good attendance record
