As Product Manager in Pure’s Cloud Native Business Unit (Portworx), you will be responsible for Portworx’s Portworx Data Service (PDS) product including strategy, roadmap, positioning, customer engagement and ensuring the overall execution. You will be leading a product and initiative that is transforming how companies think of, and use, data services across hybrid-and multi-cloud scenarios.
In this role you will
- Lead an international team and product to be successful with customers around the globe
- Define the key KPIs and how they will be measured to ensure successful use and adoption of the product
- Ensure that the product/market fit is constantly measured, product direction continues to delight customers and velocity of execution remains high
- Engage with sales and marketing activities, including creating presentations, blogs, demos, and other technical collateral for our offerings
- Inform Senior Leadership on the status of adoption, learnings, and other initiatives
- Foster an active ecosystem of customers and partners - interface with technology partners and vendors, both from the perspective of understanding their technology and product roadmap and influencing them to align with Pure strategy
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- 8 years in product management or equivalent field with an emphasis on driving KPI-driven roadmap.
- Prior experience shaping high-impact growth loops for freemium technology products.
- Analytical approach and customer empathy- you pick the right bets based on data and insights.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Good understanding of how cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes are transforming the infrastructure landscape and prior experience with cloud infrastructure technologies
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills- both at technical and business level.
- Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team environment.
