We are currently hiring for a Quality Manager in our Boise location. This position will manage quality assurance and health and safety functions.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards. Acts as the organization’s Management Representative.
• Lead Management Review of the QMS
• Schedule and manage audits of the company’s QMS by customers and third-party registrars
• Review customer order requirements and ensure they are met
  • Ensure quality requirements are established and flowed down to external suppliers
  • Ensure that manufacturing or production processes meet customer and QMS requirements
• Lead a robust continuous improvement program that seeks reduced waste & increased efficiency
• Lead the organization in developing and deploying root cause analysis and critical thinking skills including the use of appropriate statistical tools
• Manage Quality team members
• Manage the site’s health and safety programs to protect employee health, and drive continuous improvement of our safety culture as well as regulatory requirements
• Monitor performance by gathering relevant data, producing reports, and making recommendations

Qualifications / Training Required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or quality assurance environment.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills
• Experience working in and maintaining ISO 9001 quality systems and standards
• Knowledge of MRP, Syspro, or other manufacturing management systems
• Background with manufacturing methods, Statistical Process Control, LEAN, continuous process improvement programs and procedures
• Strong social & communication skills both verbal and written with solid computer literacy
• High level of emotional intelligence, problem-solving and decision making skills
• Candidate should display a high level of enthusiasm, motivation, ambition and have a real passion for their work
• Occasional travel to suppliers and customers.
