Associate, Merchandising & Curation
Overview:
Poshmark is looking for a highly-passionate, creative, and detail oriented merchandising expert. As an Associate, Merchandising & Curation, you will support the day-to-day execution of merchandising. You will be an integral part of the team responsible for Poshmark’s merchandising systems and operations, catalog and site navigation, and product recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily trend related tasks including, but not limited to, planning, creation, thoughtful UGC selection, and programming
- Stay informed on macro and micro trends within the current landscape, consolidating and sharing findings
- Assist in the strategy, support, execution, and ongoing maintenance of merchandising efforts for new market launches
- Begin to build an in depth understanding of analyzing and speaking to merchandising data
- Execute and maintain attribution and taxonomy updates
- Collaborate with your manager to establish and refine existing list management processes
- Work to build and cultivate relationships with cross functional teams
- Learn and understand evolving tools and internal systems, voicing ideas for improvement
Skills & Experience:
- 1 year of experience in site merchandising, merchandising, category management, or related field
- Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Detail oriented and organized, you pride yourself on working in a consistent and structured environment
- Ability to work in an agile manner, shifting priorities to meet deadlines and business needs, while utilizing both your analytical and creative mindset
- Possess a deep curiosity and growing knowledge of eCommerce and social shopping
- Passion for Poshmark. Experience shopping or selling on the platform is always appreciated!
