Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility is to provide strong office support in the obtaining, maintenance and communication of all Insurance related documentation, and programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the purchasing team through timely receipt of Vendor and Subcontractor Insurance.
- Process Information – Place all incoming insurance documents in the Viewpoint management and electronic Risk files.
- Receive weekly 4-week look-ahead from jobs, track Subcontractors on site and compliance issues prior to subcontractor’s onsite arrival.
- Review all purchase order requests via Viewpoint notifier to ensure proper insurance is in place prior to a work kick off.
- Maintain Vendor Master with all insurance updates.
- Manager vendor out-of-compliance.
- Perform special assignments, projects and reporting as needed.
- Complies with risk management schedules and deadlines.
- Perform general and miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- 1-3 years’ experience in an administrative capacity.
- Experience in insurance and/or risk management capacity is preferred.
- Experience in construction insurance industry is preferred.
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ideal candidate is detail oriented and able to demonstrate high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and willingness to perform in a team environment.
