Possibility Place is a Christ-centered educational day program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic Development Director to secure financial support for our small, but growing, nonprofit organization. We are looking for a person who is experienced professionally in development and as passionate about our organization’s mission as we are.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the Board of Directors and Executive Director to create and implement a fundraising plan
- Develop a digital fundraising strategy
- Furnish Board of Directors with regular progress reports
- Actively pursue new corporate and individual donors and manage these relationships
- Maintain relationships with existing supporters
- Seeks, applies for, and manages grant funding
- Develops and manages fundraising events
- Generates development materials such as case statements
- Manages current staff responsible for data entry and gift processing
- Supports the development of the annual budget along with Executive Director and Board of Directors
- Acts as primary point of contact for funding, donations, and fundraising event inquiries
- Networks at selected community and leadership events
- Creates and manages a Capital campaign
- Other duties as assigned
Applicant Requirements:
- Local to Middle Tennessee and familiar with the nonprofit and business atmosphere in our county
- Bachelor's degree in business, non-profit management, or related field
- Experience with a Capital campaign
- Holds a current CFRE certification
- 4 years of sales or business development experience
- Proficient with sponsorship solicitation
- Excellent computer skills
- Proficient with social media platforms
- Excellent understanding of fundraising best practices
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated and have ability to work independently
- Available to work rare weekends and evenings
- Valid driver’s license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
