Job Posting for Rural Carrier Associate (RCA) City Carrier Assistant (CCA) / ARC at Post Office USPS
Responsibilities:
- Operate own vehicle for delivering mail on rural routes, with mileage reimbursement in addition to your wage. Currently this is 0.98 per mile or a minimum of 39.20 per day, whichever is higher.
- Lift up to 70 pounds intermittently
- Sort and organize mail and packages for delivery
- Follow established routes and schedules for efficient delivery
- Provide excellent customer service
- Must be available to work weekdays, Saturdays, and potentially holidays.
- May be required to work in other postal facilities within a 50-mile range.
Skills:
- Strong physical stamina to lift and move heavy packages
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Attention to detail for accurate sorting and delivery of mail and packages
Applicant must be able to pass background check, have clean driving record.

Note: This position may require working in various weather conditions and may involve extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, or driving.
