Duties:
- Deliver mail and packages to rural areas using a box truck or van
- Load and unload mail and packages, which may require heavy lifting
- Drive safely and efficiently along assigned routes
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with customers and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to operate a box truck or van safely and responsibly
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Previous experience in route driving or commercial driving is preferred, but not required
- Must be comfortable working in various weather conditions
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Note: This position may involve working with refrigerated trailers for certain mail or package deliveries.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.73 - $23.76 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 60 per week
