Responsibilities

Responsibilities include: 

• Accurately record product information in ERP/MRP system and weigh each item packed.
• Label product needed for orders with appropriate batch information.
• Communicate with Customer Service to resolve order issues and accommodate customer requests.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and paletize boxes for delivery. 
• Assist other departments/areas as needed to help streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Must be able to handle heavy boxes up to 75lbs and work in a cold envirment for 8 hours a day. 
• Forklift certified preferred.

• Candidate must have their own vehicle for reliable transportation.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess 3 years of experience in food manufacturing or packaging within a warehouse setting. They should demonstrate proficiency in utilizing ERP/MRP systems for order fulfillment, data recording, inventory management, and report generation. Additionally, the production packer must be capable of handling heavy boxes weighing up to 75 lbs, working in a cold environment for 8 hours a day, and have reliable transportation.
