Description

This position offers a unique opportunity to work remotely or in a hybrid setting as a Senior Property Claims Representative for a leading staffing agency. You will provide an exceptional claims experience for clients through the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of property claims while utilizing innovative technologies such as drones for property inspections. Fieldwork is conducted in designated areas around Minnesota.

Impact

  • Investigate claims by determining applicable policy coverage.
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and settle assigned claims.
  • Initiate contact with insureds, claimants, and relevant parties to collect information and explain the claims process.
  • Perform physical and/or virtual inspections of damaged properties and prepare written estimates as needed.

Qualifications

  • Competent knowledge of residential and commercial construction techniques.
  • Multilingual is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Xactimate, and/or other claims estimating software.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills are required.
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours may be necessary.
  • Valid driver’s license is required, with the capability to drive a vehicle for appointments.
  • Physical capability to walk, reach, climb, and crawl to inspect damages under various conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for roof inspections.
  • May be called for catastrophic duty.
  • Must maintain appropriate adjuster licensing as required by state regulations.
  • Typically requires 10 years of relevant experience or a combination of experience, education, and training.
