Impact
- Investigate claims by determining applicable policy coverage.
- Evaluate, negotiate, and settle assigned claims.
- Initiate contact with insureds, claimants, and relevant parties to collect information and explain the claims process.
- Perform physical and/or virtual inspections of damaged properties and prepare written estimates as needed.
- Competent knowledge of residential and commercial construction techniques.
- Multilingual is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Xactimate, and/or other claims estimating software.
- Basic computer and data entry skills are required.
- Ability to work outside normal business hours may be necessary.
- Valid driver’s license is required, with the capability to drive a vehicle for appointments.
- Physical capability to walk, reach, climb, and crawl to inspect damages under various conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for roof inspections.
- May be called for catastrophic duty.
- Must maintain appropriate adjuster licensing as required by state regulations.
- Typically requires 10 years of relevant experience or a combination of experience, education, and training.
