Maintenance Manager

Team Leadership:

· Provide technical support and training on new and existing equipment.

· Schedule and assign tasks to ensure optimal coverage for routine and emergency maintenance.

· Responsible for selecting proper team members, developing through training and coaching; creating plans and assignments for projects; completing performance evaluations; and address team concerns, complaints and assist in providing appropriate resolutions.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, suppliers, company personnel and other agencies as a representative.

Maintenance Planning and Scheduling:

· Maintain preventive maintenance program for all machinery and equipment.

· Coordinate with production, and plant management, to perform maintenance activities without disrupting production schedules.

· Develop standard operation procedures as required for proper operations and continual improvement initiatives.

· Be responsible for spare parts and inventory management

Troubleshooting and Repairs:

· Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.

· Troubleshoot, maintain systems, and perform adjustments on machinery.

· Provide technical expertise to address complex maintenance issues and ensure timely resolutions.

Equipment Optimization:

· Collaborate with engineering and plant management to optimize equipment performance and efficiency.

· Identify opportunities for upgrades and improvements to enhance overall equipment reliability.

· Review maintenance schedules and repairs with plant personnel for prioritization and corrections.

Documentation and Reporting:

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.

· Generate reports on equipment performance, maintenance costs, and downtime analysis.

· Management of CMMS, including training of the system and ensuring the integrity of the information stored in the system.

· Complete regulatory reports and paperwork in compliance with environmental, health, and safety agencies. Function as the company representative for regulatory service meetings.

Training and Development:

· Provide ongoing training to maintenance staff on new and existing equipment, procedures, and safety protocols.

· Foster a culture of continuous improvement and skill development within the maintenance team.

· Develop and communicate safety procedures and policies.

Requirements:

· Knowledge / Experience in industrial, mechanical and/or electrical engineering.

· Knowledge of OSHA guidelines.

· Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and paint / coating systems, with ability to maintain conveyorized equipment.

· Ability to read system schematics.

· Capability to write programs in Allen Bradley, or equivalent software.

· Perform to standards and meet corporate goals and objectives.

· Advanced troubleshooting skills.

· Understand, adhere and implement all safety rules, regulations and equipment procedures.

· Exceptional organization skills and abilities

Compensation:

· Based on knowledge and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
