What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Associate position at Power Brokers INC?
Power Brokers INC, The largest used powersports dealership in the Midwest is looking for an Office Assistant to help with office tasks and running of the daily administrative operations of the company. The ideal candidate would be someone who has phone and face to face customer service experience, loves helping customers, has attention to detail, is proficient using a computer and desires to learn and grow within the powersports industry. This position would have a work schedule of Tuesday- Friday 8:45AM to 6:00PM and Saturday from 8:45AM to 3:00PM. We are closed on Sunday and Monday.
Responsibilities
- Answering phones and handling inbound calls, providing accurate and detailed information to customers or transferring phone calls to different departments within the dealership.
- Perform office duties including greeting customers and interacting with them when they are in the office. This position requires face to face customer interaction consistently when we have customers engaging with us in the office.
- Handling of incoming consignment requests and completing appropriate paperwork. This includes using various computer programs to capture accurate data, and record as appropriate, along with maintaining accurate records and collecting require state forms.
- Maintain inventory log on PBI Website using Microsoft Excel and Master DMS System with high level of accuracy.
- Filing and cataloging documents using a developed system where they can be easily found and retrieved.
- Perform clerical duties such as creating price tags, dealer temporary license plates, consignment intake cards, signs, etc.
- Act as backup in the finance office, helping customer with cash deals and signing them out, on their used powersport purchases.
- Cashier customer who are purchasing over the counter m merchandise.
- Cash handling of the cash drawer for the dealership and accountable for daily balancing of the register.
- Complete other duties as they are assigned to you.
Skills
- Excellent customer service attributes including a friendly personality and desire to help customers is a must. This is a customer facing position.
- Proficient using a computer and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of office equipment (phones, computer, copier, fax machine, etc.)
- Thorough understanding of office policies and procedures.
- Detail oriented individual that takes pride in doing quality work and being accurate.
- Understanding of how to go through paperwork used to execute a purchase transaction of a major unit (purchase order, title application, etc).
- Enhanced knowledge of the Powersports Industry is beneficial but is not a must-have. We are looking for the right person for this job, regardless of previous industry knowledge.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
