We are located in the Shenandoah Valley, just south of Harrisonburg, VA in Mt. Crawford, Virginia.
The Production Clerk performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products. Responsibilities include….
- Cycle Counting – Adhere to parts count schedule for counting of all component parts, work in progress sub-assemblies and finished goods. Investigate and report discrepancies between actual component counts and system counts, escalate to Production Engineer or Manager, as needed
- Work Order Parts Kitting – Assemble component kits for all generated work orders
- Incoming Components Inspection – Verify all ordered and received parts are correct size, style, etc. utilizing parts picture library, magnifying glass, etc.
- Inventory Parts Room - Organize, stock and make correct adjustments for all incoming/outgoing parts. Label new items and tag areas of stock room.
- Back up Shipping Clerk’s responsibilities
- Inputting data into system to track inventory levels and customer orders
- Other parts-related/production duties as needed
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years of experience in Shipping/Receiving
- High level of organization and communication
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long hours and ability to bend and lift for packing and stacking boxes
- Familiarity with NetSuite system, preferred
