Job Summary: The Temporary Power Field Installer is a key position responsible for driving to customer job sites and ensuring safe and efficient installation of temporary power equipment. The Field Installer often interacts with Construction Superintendents so is required to communicate professionally at all times. Outdoor work with frequent drive time; Position mostly requires heavy lifting, repetitive motions and ladder climbing. Frequent overtime is required. This is a full-time, year-round position.
Job Responsibilities:
Show up to work on time as scheduled, or personally phone supervisor prior to the start of shift.
Load and stock company vehicle and drive to job sites.
Occasionally meet with customer.
Install temporary power poles, wire and other equipment.
Install permanent utility materials and equipment for a wide range of construction projects.
Ensure that all equipment is set in accordance with spotted location to avoid repeat trips.
Always hot check jobs before leaving to ensure there are no hot neutrals.
Drive vehicles in accordance with laws and Power Plus! driving standards.
Maintain vehicle appearance and function including filling out vehicle inspection checklist accurately daily.
Accurately report (every stop) to dispatch and scheduler. Fill out tickets, highlight maps and go over tickets with Mapper each day.
Wear OSHA compliant safety equipment hard hats, etc.
Adhere to Power Plus! safety and quality standards when setting and/or picking up equipment.
Report any work injuries and vehicular accidents to supervisor immediately (Injuries and accidents you are involved in will be evaluated to determine if it was preventable)
Other duties may be assigned as business needs require.

Competencies:
Manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, comfort working with heights climbing ladders and working in bucket trucks, ability to read and understand construction blueprints, ability to work in extreme temperatures.
Requirements:
Valid, clean state Drivers License
Ability to lift 80 pounds
Ability to read maps
Willingness to work on ladder (heights)
Experience working with connecting phone systems a plus
Class B or Class A license a plus
