Our facility is managed by Power Wellness Management, a company that specializes in managing state-of-the-art medically integrated health and fitness centers. Power Wellness is a medical fitness industry pioneer who improves the lives of clients with a unique and customized approach to medical fitness center development and management. Their turnkey method takes away the stress of the development and management process allowing clients to focus on other areas of their business.The Fitness Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision to the fitness staff and assisting in coordinating fitness related services to members and guests of the center. He/she ensures that fitness department associates are providing the highest level of customer service to members, guests and prospects of the facility. The Fitness Supervisor also supports the Fitness Manager in the overseeing of daily fitness operations of all fitness related services.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:1. Provide supervision and oversight to fitness staff as it relates to all duties and responsibilities as outlined in the fitness associate’s job descriptions.2. Work towards achieving established satisfaction survey metrics and provide coaching and direction to achieve threshold scores as it relates to member and guest satisfaction.3. Ensure appropriate coverage on the fitness floor at all times.4. Responsible for monitoring maintenance of all fitness equipment and informing the Fitness Manager of any needs.5. Assist with member retention by encouraging the development of member retention programs on a consistent basis. 6. Oversee and ensure compliance with all physician approval and clearance procedures, testing procedures and medically-integrated programs.7. Assist with all mock codes, safety drills and monthly safety audits in compliance with Power Wellness standards.8. Have the ability to perform all the duties outlined in the Fitness Specialist and Personal Training job description as needed.9. Provide regular feedback, write and conduct interim and annual performance reviews.10. Assist with hiring and training all Fitness department associates.11. Work Manager on Duty shifts as assigned.12. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree from a 4 year college or university in a health-related, exercise science, kinesiology, or physical education major required. Master's degree preferred.• Nationally recognized NCCA accredited certification required.• ACSM certification preferred.• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.• Minimum 2 years of experience in the fitness/wellness industry required, preferably in a fitness facility.• CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire (provided by Power Wellness)• Must possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills, and the ability to work with members in a positive, service based manner.• Ability to multi-task and maintain a controlled and professional demeanor.• Proficient computer skills.
Salary : $38,500 - $48,700
