PowerHIRED is looking for a Control Systems Design Engineer to join our growing and dynamic technical team!!
Control Systems Design Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems for continuous web handling machinery according to customer specifications.
- Perform design and drafting tasks under the guidance of a Senior or Staff Project Engineer.
- Oversee the work of other design engineers and collaborate with the engineering team to ensure timely project completion.
- Provide support for assembly, purchasing, and field service, addressing related questions and problems.
- Promote standardization and design for manufacturing.
- Integrate all components into the general arrangement drawing.
- Participate in project teams for contract and project design review meetings.
- Travel up to 10% for customer visits, vendor meetings, and start-ups as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
- Maintain awareness and compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 management systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, or related experience.
- Strong proficiency in control systems design and drafting.
- Experience with continuous web handling machinery is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
