What are the responsibilities and job description for the Support Specialist position at PowerPhone?
Company Overview For almost 40 years, PowerPhone continues to be an innovator and one of the country's leading providers of emergency call handling software. It helps 911 call handlers more effectively question callers to determine conditions at the scene and then relay more accurate information faster to on scene responders. Within the software are pre-arrival instructions that ensure a zero-minute response time to deliver actionable advice, enhance scene safety, and minimize liability for 911 centers. PowerPhone's mission is to help the public safety industry realize that call handling isn't just dispatching and waiting for on scene responders to respond. It is the foundation for an effective response to the caller and having software to effectively assess the situation can save lives, preserve evidence, and property. There is a great need in the industry to improve processes and support those people that manage 911 calls. Due to this need, PowerPhone is experiencing record breaking growth and is expanding its team.
PowerPhone is a great place to work and has a tenured staff. It offers an incredible work environment allowing individuals to work at home, yet experience team comradery, collaboration on exciting projects, and an environment that allows for a work-hard, play-hard approach.
