JOB DUTIES – BOOKKEEPER/OFFICE MANAGER

  • This position is PART-TIME for 3 days a week(24 hours) 9AM-5PM
  • Accounts Payable – be able to take invoices, match delivery tickets and enter them in accounting software (Timberline) with proper coding, assemble invoices and check for signature, prepare signed checks for mailing.
  • Accounts Receivable – be able to take delivery tickets and prepare invoices for vendors, email invoices and keep AR spreadsheet up to date.
  • Provide support to the controller for additional accounting related functions like maintaining insurance certificates, subcontractor agreements, property files, etc.
  • Provide support to the principals of the company by doing functions like scheduling of meetings, maintaining calendars, filing, preparation of letters, mail organization, etc.
  • Provide general support to the employees of the company including a Construction Supervisor, Service Manager and Salesperson.
  • Be the main point of contact for the management of the office, regarding keeping the office organized in a professional manner, coordinate any deliveries or building appointments, etc.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience related to performing bookkeeping functions.
  • Accounting degree or related experience in the accounting field
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Previous experience related to Office Manager duties including letter prep and high organization skills.
  • Be able to work independently to get required task completed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
