Job Overview:
CultureWorx, LLC seeks an Organizational Development Consultant to work join our team. This position will support our Operational and Cultural Performance Improvement line of business along with other subsidiary assignments. This position will take part in the design and implementation of organizational leadership and culture management programs and practices, with an emphasis on planning, development, management, advancement, and continuous improvement of cultural performance management systems and processes for our clients.
As a fulltime position, you will work from our company headquarters based in Atlanta, GA, with intermittent travel to various client locations within the US (as frequent as weekly, if needed).
As an Organizational Development Consultant with CultureWorx, you will work in a diverse variety of industries and environments, including light and heavy industrial settings across manufacturing, food processing, warehousing, and support functions (Maintenance, Planning & Scheduling, Quality, Sanitation, etc.). You will be tasked with performing assessments of the organizational culture and the systems and processes that support it. You will also be tasked with equipping managers and supervisors with the tools, controls, and, most importantly, the behaviors required to manage operations to full capacity. You must be a 'roll-up your sleeves' and disciplined individual, with self-initiative and natural curiosity for learning.
You must enjoy working shoulder-to-shoulder with others to drive behavioral improvement at all levels in an organization focused on barrier removal, leadership development, and employee engagement to optimize performance. You may be asked to lead, coach, and develop members of a client organization through a change management process developing clear understanding of their processes, barrier identification and training on the optimal leadership behaviors and associated skills for substantial improvements and measurable results.
Your ability to perform thoughtful and strategic organizational performance diagnostics; including assessment of leadership behaviors and competencies is a must. You must be an active and effective problem-solver, communicator. Furthermore, you must be able to develop and exhibit trust and respect with client stakeholders with tactful honesty.
As an Organizational Development Consultant, you will report to the Chief Executive Officer for CultureWorx. When deployed to a specific project, you may be asked to partner with a dedicated Project Manager who is responsible for providing direction and support in the fulfillment of the project deliverables. A willingness to learn and take direction is a must, balanced with your ability to bring your positive personal experiences and knowledge to the forefront. The Organizational Development Consultant position requires having the confidence and ability to execute an aggressive, results-focused schedule through 'human engineering' of the client. Your interpersonal skills of gaining partnerships, buy-in, and ownership by others will be critical to the clients, CultureWorx (getcultureworx.com), and your personal success.
Job Functions:
- Assess organizational culture and individual leadership development needs
- Create leadership training and development curriculum, including the research, curation, and compilation of written and video specific content
- Collaborate with senior, mid, and frontline leaders and cross-functional teams to build short-term and long-term goals and objectives to strengthen leadership effectiveness
- Design project plans to reinforce strengths, address gaps, and measure progress and outcomes
- Proactively address and respond to organizational culture issues by bringing key stakeholders together to assess root causes, implement and/or support the implementation of appropriate interventions
- Execute the facilitation, program design, and materials/tools development to support effective communication and leadership development
- Consult with supervisors and managers to create change management project plans to strengthen culture, team and leadership effectiveness, and employee engagement; assisting in identifying actions to course correct as needed
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to ensure work plans inform and support each other and lead to continuous improvement of organizational and leadership performance
- Partner with other consultants and subject-matter experts on the employee experience, talent review, strengths, coaching and other teamwork plan items
Job Requirements:
Overview-
- Knowledge of Organization Development principles and practices, organizational behavior, and team/group dynamics, change management consulting models, drivers of employee engagement, assessment tools, leadership development, and talent management tools and processes.
Ability to consult with leaders, assess customer needs, facilitate groups, manage multiple projects and assignments, build relationships, and work collaboratively across the department and organization.
Ability to apply expertise in needs analysis, change management, project planning, group facilitation, employee engagement, and team effectiveness across geographically dispersed locations.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time when actively engaged on a client project.
