Overview

The Strategic Alliances Director will develop, guide, and lead complex relationships with a diverse range of people including sales, product management, marketing, service delivery, support teams, and senior management within our partners.

This role is responsible for developing and nurturing strategic partnerships with global organizations such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft, Google, HP, Oracle, Snowflake, IBM, and other emerging alliances to support PowerSchool in achieving sales bookings globally.

Seeking candidates in Folsom, CA, or the Bay Area as travel to PowerSchool headquarters is required.

Responsibilities

  • Drive incremental new business through alliance partnerships, including lead generation, pipeline growth, new logos, and increased sales/revenue.
  • Foster and develop executive level relationships within our key strategic alliance partners.
  • Ensure consistent engagement with strategic alliance partners to drive revenue, facilitate joint go-to-market activities, foster customer engagements, develop qualified pipeline and ultimately bookings of PowerSchool solutions that meet and exceed quota and expectations.
  • Develop joint value propositions and sales motions customized for each alliance.
  • Foster trusted relationships with each alliance partner, promoting PowerSchool offerings within their unique environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated go-to-market strategies that enhance partner value propositions.
  • Present on strategic alliance partner program at QBRs, executive meetings, trainings, and events.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

  • 10 years of demonstrated success in alliances/partnerships, or sales, for B2B Enterprise IT companies.
  • Mature, inspirational, and credible communicator with exceptional presentation skills
  • Data-driven and analytically minded
  • Highly organized and structured thinker, with the ability to present ideas and plans in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Strong ability to anticipate issues and engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.\
  • Effective in collaboration with C-Level executives and senior leaders from cross-functional groups and partner organizations.
  • Public company experience required.
  • K-12/SaaS domain experience a plus!

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $125,000 – $150,000. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
