POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the receipt, verification, stocking and shipping of all products sold by the company; and ensuring the accuracy and quality of all products purchased by the company and shipped to the customer. May also be responsible for other light industrial work associated with branch operation and grounds keeping. May be required to deliver product and qualify as a commercial driver.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
•Receives and accepts products delivered from vendors: verify accuracy of shipments by comparing order/shipping/receiving documents to physical counts, identifies/reports damaged products to supervisor, documents/reports shortages to supervisors, signs off on receiving documents and processes the documents.
•Prepares shipments of products for delivery: pulls and prepares product for shipment on company vehicles or common carrier.
•Loads and unloads product onto company vehicles by hand or powered equipment, unloads/loads product onto common carrier vehicles by hand or powered equipment.
•Ensures work is completed promptly and meets deadlines that support the customer and common carrier requirements.
•Maintains cleanliness and safety of the warehouse and yard: keeps floors clean and free of obstructions, ensures that shelved products are properly stacked and secured, rotates products as necessary, inspects equipment and property for safety hazards, resolves hazards to make them safe or reports hazards to supervisor, inspects/maintains equipment to extend life and prevent injuries, reports equipment problems to supervisor.

•May perform the duties of a commercial driver: operate delivery vehicles to transport materials to and from specified destinations, such as contractor work sites and industrial yards, load and unload trucks and/or trailers, properly secure loads in accordance with state/federal regulation and common safety practices, inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as fuel, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition, obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures, report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles, verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers, turn in receipts and money received from deliveries, maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with regulations/policy, read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions, report delays/accidents/other traffic and transportation situation to branch or other vehicles - using telephones, radios, other communication devices, use and maintain the tools or equipment found on commercial vehicles, such as weighing or measuring devices.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Experience:
Prefer at least 1 year related experience.
Computer Skills:
Basic computer skills, including prior use of Windows, MS Office products and other basic inventory management systems.
Certifications &
Licenses:
Valid driver license required. Class A Commercial Driver License is preferred and/or required. Required to hold an acceptable medical certification for a commercial driver.
Other Requirements:
Must maintain an acceptable driving record.
