What are the responsibilities and job description for the Learning and Development Consultant position at PPG Careers Careers?
As a Learning & Development Consultant , you will craft and manage L&D programs to meet Global and Regional learning needs within specified timescales and resources. You will connect with collaborators to understand the needs of the business and L&D solutions, as well as track the learning outcomes of our programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate programs to help build frontline supervisor/managerial capability by adopting the latest learning methodologies, engaging learners, and advising on learning outcomes.
- Develop content and high-quality learning resources that create high levels of engagement to achieve learning outcomes.
- Identify and incorporate appropriate L&D methodologies and delivery channels for the development of global programs.
- Extract data from the Workday LMS, build dashboards/data visualization, track the data for USCA L&D projects.
- Utilize data and insights to drive decision-making related to developing L&D strategies.
- Design and peer review scalable programs that adhere to guidelines and norms on business processes, including administration as needed.
- Support senior management to set priorities for L&D Global Programs and define learning outcomes.
- Understand internal customer needs.
- Provide accurate and timely responses regarding L&D programs to relevant stakeholders.
- Remain current on Best Practices, research, and software releases to increase team capabilities.
- This position is a team member of the Global Learning & Development team and reports directly to L&D Leader for USCA.
- Position must be based within the USCA territory with willingness to travel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Organizational Development, Adult Education, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Program Development, Curriculum Development, or Content Development.
- LMS experience.
- Knowledge of Organizational psychology or Adult Learning Theory.
- Knowledge of training evaluation.
- Strong communication skills - must speak English.
- Experience with design products such as Adobe CC, Captivate, Camtasia, or Articulate 360.
Preferred
- Master’s Degree in HR, Organizational Development, Adult Education, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in Program Development, Curriculum Development, or Content Development.
- Working knowledge of Excel pivot tables, Power Bi, Tableau, or other data analytics.
- Experience with design products such as Adobe CC, Captivate, Camtasia, or Articulate 360.
