Warehouse Operator
As Warehouse Operator will report to the Dispatch Manager and will pick up goods from stock (using both Counterbalance and Reach Trucks and manual picks), and make available to the shipping team and general warehouse tasks including loading and unloading vehicles/trailers.
37,5 hours a week
8:00 to 16:00
Mon-Fri
Key Responsibilities
· To ensure that all gods are correctly picked for shipment as per the instructions on the IFS pick lists.
· To ensure all goods are stored and located safely and correctly as per IFS instructions and/or Team leader instructions.
· To ensure all goods are loaded correctly and securely onto associated vehicles/trailers.
· Responsible for keeping working area in a safe and tidy manner.
· To ensure the 5S checklist is completed at the end of the working day.
· To liaise with Team Leader/Manager: holiday, sickness and overtime, etc.
· To ensure all operations/practices are carried out in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
· Load or unload vehicles/trailers when required using FLT/Reach trucks.
· Follow 5S procedures in the despatch area, finished goods area and packaging bench area.
· Adhere to and manage the health and safety guidelines as determined by H&S policy the findings of any subsequent risk assessments.
· To adhere to Whitford UK code and conduct in compliance with Whitford UK policies.
· Carry out such additional duties as reasonably be required by the Dispatch Manager/Assistant Production Manager/ Production Manager/ Dispatch team leader.
Qualifications
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and working under pressure.
· Team player, attentive to detail and good prioritization skills.
· Computer literacy required Outlook, ERP system, etc.
· Forklift Counterbalance and Reach truck licences for 1500 kg.
