Credit Back Office Specialist
Job Posting for Credit Back Office Specialist at PPG Industries, Inc
As aCredit Back Office Specialist, you will be a member of the Accounts Receivable department reporting to the Credit Back Office Supervisor. You will provide Credit and Cash Application support to ensure that PPG assets are protected by supervising customer credit risk and guaranteeing payments are received and posted.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support during the new customer setup, order release management, credit limit reviews and reporting.
- Answer accounts receivable calls received and connect with internal and external customers to ensure a smooth and effective operation.
- Prepare credit approval packages, annual reviews, renewals of credit, credit proposals and coordination of document preparation and closings.
- Address cash application issues/concerns related to existing/new Supply Chain Finance programs.
Qualifications
- High school graduate with 2 years of proven experience in Accounting, cash application, or credit and collections; degree preferred.
- Proficient in digital literacy
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, etc.), Oracle/SAP system.
