Application Developer Specialist IV

As an Application Developer IV, you will be a member of the Aerospace front line IT team responsible for participating in application development, maintenance, and improvement projects. In this role, you will primarily work with Microsoft SQL, Power BI, and QAD ERP applications. Can you own the entire life cycle of development including requirements capturing, design, development, testing, and ongoing improvements? If so, read on!
Key Responsibilities

• Support existing customizations and reports within the system, as well as implementing new customizations and reports.
• Collaborate cross functionally to provide technical leadership on multiple projects to define detailed customer requirements, system interfaces, and assess available technologies while reporting status of project efforts to management and maintaining good relationships.
• Assist in the gathering of requirements, translating requirements into functional design, define application scope and objectives, identify barriers to meet project goals and implement solutions that keep projects on track and on budget.
• Maintain awareness of current and planned projects within their IT group to promote application sharing.
• Ensure business application systems are developed in a way that aligns with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices.
